Profiling Cookies:

Profiling cookies are aimed at creating profiles relating to the users. They are used to send advertising in line with the preferences shown through the users’ browsing habits.

Given the considerable invasiveness that such devices may have in the private sphere of the users, the European and Italian legislation requires the users to be properly informed on the use of them and thus express their valid consent.

Art. 122 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code refers to this where it legitimates the storage of information in the terminal equipment of a subscriber or a user or the access to information already stored  only on the condition that the subscriber or the user “has given his/her consent based on prior information as per Art. 13(3), whereby purposes and duration of the processing shall have to be referred to in detail, clearly and accurately”.

Our website does not use profiling cookies, however, third party services, used for sharing feature or specific plug-ins, can use them. In this regard, please read the section on third party cookies to get information about the related usage policy.

These cookies are used in order to collect information about the website use by the users in an anonymous way such as pages visited, time spent, traffic sources, geographic origin, age, gender and interests for the purpose of marketing campaigns.
