CMM Laser Cutting is committed to respecting and protecting the environment, continuously improving its performance and reducing the risks associated with its activities and the products and services it provides.
To achieve this objective, over the years the company has made significant investments:
- Constantly expanding photovoltaic system: the initial installed capacity of 806 kW was increased by a further 664 kW in 2023 and, at the beginning of 2026, by an additional 767 kW across the two divisions. Today, the system has a total installed capacity of over 2,200 kW.
- Annual energy audits of the facilities, to continuously monitor consumption and guide investments towards higher-performance, more energy-efficient machinery.
- Low-energy lighting, with old fluorescent tubes replaced by induction lamps.
- Two sheet metal laser cutting systems, one of which uses fibre laser technology, reducing electricity consumption.
- Two tube laser cutting systems, including one fibre laser system designed to reduce energy consumption.
- Industry 4.0 machinery: in 2017, a press brake for metal sheet bending and a punching machine for steel sheet punching were installed, both falling within the scope of the National Industry 4.0 Plan.
- Technological revamping of the systems, carried out in collaboration with the manufacturers, extending their useful life within the production process, improving performance, and reducing energy consumption and environmental impact.
In line with these commitments, CMM Laser places constant emphasis on the health and safety of its employees, complying with current regulations and investing in staff training. We work every day to improve by adopting innovative production processes and increasingly safe machinery.
Finally, in waste management, we prioritise recovery and recycling over disposal.
